We are currently representing a retailer with over 40 years' experience providing the best service and products to everyone that loves oriental foods. This is an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to join the flagship branch of their growing supermarkets.

They are looking for a store manager with strong commercial awareness, strong engagement and mandarin communication skills. You will act as a leader to maintain store operation and management of staffs.

Job responsibilities:

- Responsible to achieve sales, stock, profit and cost targets.

- Understand internal performance and take action to maximise store sales.

- Maintain store standard.

- Managing and leading a team to reach targets and achieve KPI.

- Be commercially aware, understand competitor activities and industry knowledge.

- Managing stock loss and delivering successful stock takes within budget

- Work closely with the CEO and Senior Management, establish marketing strategy for the store.

- Building one to one relationships with key customers through visits and consultations and maximising the opportunity to gain additional business.

- Foster positive business relationships with key stakeholders and work with Head Office teams to establish ways of working that are second to none.

- Recruiting, inducting and developing team members.

- Maximising customer interaction at every opportunity and delivering against store and corporate efficiency at all levels, taking into account business priorities, productivity models and budgetary constraints.

- Through leading by example you across your store team.

- Implement a performance management culture that supportive and engaging.

- Measure direct reports' performance.

The ideal candidate:

- Must have 2 years Food Retail Experience.

- Be Commercial Aware.

- Proactive and always act as a leader.

- Excellent problem solving skills.

- Strong engagement skills.

- Understanding the food retail industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ideally fluent in Mandarin.

Package:

- Up to £35,000 plus bonus

- 28 days holiday
