An opportunity to use your existing Insurance experience at Manager level and be responsible for a team of three. The position is working for an international Insurance business and is based in their office in Central London. You will be a key member of the Finance team and therefore will need to demonstrate your Financial Accounting experience as well as ability to manage a team. Knowledge of Insurance if a must and you will have either General/Non Life Insrance or Syndicate experience.

Responsibilities include:

-Preparation of group consolidation under IFRS

- Group Solvency II reporting

- Reviewing the company parent ledger

- Ensuring accounting records comply with the latest technical accounting and reporting requirements

-Ensuring preparation of monthly management accounts

-Providing input into group finance projects

- Managing 1 Fully Qualified Accountant and 2 Part Qualified Accountants

The role will cover a variety of tasks and will also have involvement in projects to improve systems and processes. Offering challenges beyond the business as usual Financial Accounts, this is a great position to use your existing knowledge of Insurance in a Management position. You will either have experience in the Insurance industry or be from Big 4/Top 10 practice with post qualified experience.
