Finance Manager, Tecknuovo Ltd

Summary of Role:

Responsible for accounting, supplier payment, banking and credit control processes of Tecknuovo Ltd.

The Company:

Tecknuovo are a DevOps & Cloud Niche IT Recruitment Start-up operating out of London Bridge / Borough based offices. We are a small, professional outfit with a huge focus on quality of process and customer service. A Finance Manager would be joining a rapidly growing company with ambitions for being part of the Fast Track 100 by 2018. A part time role to start but going full time throughout the course of 2017/18 and with a potential global remit based on our expansion plans into Europe and the US.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monthly accounts preparation (in Xero)
  • Cash management including liaison with bank
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Staff payroll and expenses (including credit cards)
  • Purchase invoice processing including supplier (contractor) payments
  • Credit control
  • Liaison with external accountants for the preparation of year end accounts and tax returns

Professional contacts within the role:

  • Reports to Tecknuovo MD, with dotted line to Tecknuovo FD
  • Close working relationship with, and providing back up to, the Tecknuovo Operations Manager who handles contractor pay/bill operations (in ETZ)
  • Daily contact with the Tecknuovo sales organization
  • Regular contact with the bank and professional advisors

Person Profile:

  • Experienced in preparing accounts for an SME
  • Good level of accounting knowledge, ideally with qualification such as AAT
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Good communication skills and an ability to convey financial information to non-finance members of staff
  • Good knowledge of accounting applications such as Xero
