This is an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to work in a planning and buying role across all media. The position will see you manage a wide variety of clients across retail, gaming, music and alcoholic beverages where you will have client contact on a daily basis. You will help assist in the management of more junior members of staff helping with training and overseeing their day to day work, you will report into an account manager. You will be responsible for buying and planning national media and negotiating rates on clients behalf with media owners. The majority of this role will be planning with little buying so it will give you the opportunity to be strategic and come up with overall ideas.
To ensure you are successful in this role you will have the following experience and attributes:
* You will have experience in planning and buying at least one media channel (for example you can be considered if you are a press planner/buyer or a radio planner buyer). Cross media experience is advantageous.
* An understanding of national media is essential.
* You will previous experience working with clients face to face.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Strong client handling skills.
