My client was established in 2003 as a sister company from a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, to provide discretionary and advisory services to their UHNW clients, many of whom are celebrities and some are members of the House of Lords.

They have grown to become a very successful firm in their own right, but still have a close link to the Accountants, whose referrals make up 40% of their production.

The firm completed an acquisition in 2014 and are currently in discussions with several other firms, with a view to completing their next acquisition at some point next year.

They currently look after £600m in client funds between 14 advisers. Their average client portfolio is close to £1m FUM.

The firm are looking to distinguish themselves further as a business in their own right, independent from their Accountancy origins. 

They are looking for established and ideally Chartered Financial Planners who can bring a minimum of £10m in Funds Under Management to help them grow.

In return for your expertise and client following, the firm will offer a generous salary of up to £80,000 and a signing on fee of 25% of the recurring income of your clients, minus your salary.

There will also be opportunities for partnership and equity in the firm one you are established.

They will offer assistance in the first year to help transition these clients and wait for covenants to expire, with lead support/introducers etc. the firm work closely with Goldman Sachs and other high level Accountants who could potentially help with client introductions.

You will be a very experienced IFA ideally at or close to Chartered status.

You will have excellent communication skills and be confident and engaging with very HNW clients, ideally with experience in working for or with Accountancy firms.

You will have built strong relationships which will follow you after or even before the expiration of any covenant, or ideally not have one to negotiate.
