I'm currently working with a global consumer business based in Central London who are looking to recruit a UK Finance Director. The business has recently undergone a Global Transformation Change Project and this role has been newly created as a result. As UK Finance Director the role will lead the UK Finance team and oversee all activities of the UK Finance function for all legal entities. As Finance Director the role will lead and direct a large finance function through a number of direct reports whilst partnering with senior business support and function managers as approproate to maintain effective cost control, margin transparency, performance management and minimise financial risk. The Finance Director role will deliver accurate and timely high quality financial statement preparation and financial reporting and identify key drivers including foreign exchange performance. The role will support robust budgets, forecasts, sales outlooks, cash flows, treasury transactions and corporate governance.
This is a role that requires an ACA/ACCA Qualified Finance Professional with previous financial control and management reporting experience. They will have demonstrable experience of managing large teams and be used to working in a complex international and multi-currency environment.
