Day Porter/Concierge - Residential

Salary: £18,700 per annum

Location: London W2

Hours of Work: 2on 2 off 0700-1900

Description:

A Concierge is required to work within prestigious development of luxury apartments in London W2. This position is primarily customer focused, meet and greet all visitors to reception with a helpful attitude. The Concierge will create a positive first impression and provide superior levels of customer service that meets the residents’ needs and expectations. A background in working at 5* hotels or residential developments is essential well as the ability to work independently. A current CRB is also highly desirable.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • To perform your duties and provide concierge services, in the prescribed manner, as instructed by the Estate Manager or Property Manager.
  • To inspect, on a daily basis, all internal areas of the private residential buildings and report any defects, security or health and safety concerns to the Estate Manager.
  • To set an example for other staff members by being courteous and helpful to all occupiers in addition to members of the public, other staff, guests, and to contractors employed on the estate.
  • To enter all relevant comments/details in the concierge log.
  • To liaise with the estate security team on all security matters.
  • To receive and keep safe registered mail and deliveries for residents.
  • To ensure deal with all general telephone enquiries and log messages.
  • To ensure the development is a well-managed, safe, clean and secure environment in which to live and work.
  • To enter all relevant comments/details in the development logs.

Health & Safety

  • To ensure that all incidents or accidents are logged accordingly.
  • To adopt and implement the procedures directed by the Managing Agent or their Health and Safety Consultant.
  • To assist with the annual fire and health and safety risk assessments.
  • To ensure CCTV cameras are monitored (where possible) and images saved as necessary.

Concierge Services

  • To supervise any keys which may be held. To ensure that they are correctly logged in and out in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • To receive and keep safe registered mail and deliveries for residents.
  • To manage and facilitation the provision of a dry cleaning service.
