Highly successful and friendly company are looking for an experienced Account Handler/Credit Control Executive to join their team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Effectively chasing all customers within your dedicated portfolio of accounts to ensure prompt payment of outstanding invoices and maximising cash receipts.
Negotiating repayment plans.
Setting up new accounts
Checking customer credit ratings, determining credit status, setting up terms and conditions on each account and dealing with internal queries about payments.
Developing and maintaining good relationships with both internal and external customers.
Overseeing cash allocation, statement runs, credit notes, write offs.
Monthly aged debt reporting and analysis.
Maintain a detailed breakdown on top accounts to show outstanding invoices.
Resolving customer queries.
Developing open communication with Account Managers to manage accounts and to give visibility of any issues and concerns, offer solutions.
Review debt recovery procedures and if necessary commence legal recovery procedures.
Review existing account credit limits and obtain credit insurance on relevant customers.
EXPEIRENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Solid credit control/account handling experience
Enjoy working in a small hands on team
The ability to make sound decisions
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work to strict deadlines
Good IT skills
Experience of using an ERP system
