Windows Support Engineer



This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Windows Engineer to take a core position within a small IT team to provide support as well as work on roll-out/migration/upgrade projects of the latest technologies.

Core Skills: Windows 7, MS Office & Outlook & Active Directory Support Level: 1st & 2nd line telephone, remote, deskside & server side support

As Windows Engineer Your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • To investigate, diagnose and resolve IT support issues where possible, working with users, other staff and third party suppliers as appropriate.

  • Taking ownership for the resolution of issues, - as Windows Engineer monitoring - progress and applying the escalation procedure as necessary.

  • To ensure consistent delivery of high quality services to all clients.

  • Assist with agreed plans to install or upgrade items of hardware and/or software as directed.

  • At least 2 years Support Experience as an engineer.

  • Microsoft experience with good knowledge of Windows 10 and Active Directory.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner, with experience of setting expectations and communicating results.
