IT Support Technician / Helpdesk Analyst - City of London

A fast growing and modern IT business based in Moorgate, London is looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join its large IT department.

Working as part of a busy IT team of over 40 people, this role will involve providing 1st and 2nd line support for both in house staff and external clients. You will get exposure to supporting a range of technologies including server infrastructure, network devices, software and computer hardware. In addition you will also be responsible for keeping PC images and servers up to date with the latest patches and updates and carry out weekly backups.

This role is paying a starting salary of up to £26,000 based on experience. Benefits include private healthcare, gym membership and pension scheme. The company have just moved into new modern offices and have a very sociable and fun environment.

To be considered for this IT Support Technician you must have previous IT Helpdesk, Service Desk or Desktop support experience along with the following:
- Natural enthusiasm towards IT and building a career within a fast growing IT business
- Experience of providing support for Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Office and Active Directory
- Knowledge of basic networking (IP Addressing / Routing / Wi-Fi)
- Ability to deal with basic security (Anti-Virus and Firewalls)
- Basic MS SQL Administration (backups / restores)
