Head of Paid Search, c. to £55k, London, Digital Agency

I'm pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with an established and successful independent Digital Marketing Agency who are growing a brand new London based office close to Old Street. They work with top brand based in a variety of sectors and specialise in Paid Search, SEO, Content, and Social Media. At this exciting time for the agency they have an opportunity for a Head of Paid Search to join the team.

As Head of Paid Media you will manage a team of around 5-6 and demonstrate strong leadership within Paid Search & Paid Social. You will need to show passion for Paid Search and your role will be varied, made up of; 25% hands on campaign management (to keep you sharp), 25% in new business pitching and strategy work, and 50% involvement in leading and developing the team and department. As Head of Paid Media you would be actively encouraged to speak at some of the leading conferences in the UK and across the globe to help promote the brand and the agencies Paid Media abilities.

Key responsibilities;
- Managing the existing Paid Media team
- Collaborating in creative planning and client brainstorming sessions
- Analysing campaign performance
- Assisting in the management of key accounts
- Team training and support
- Championing new tools, services and techniques
- New business support and pitching
- Team KPI management
- Attend events at Google and Bing to keep up to date with new techniques and report back to the team

Key skills required;
- Strong background of hands-on experience running Paid Search campaigns across Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest
- Proven track record in managing and growing a team
- Ability to recruit and train other team members to an excellent standard
- In-depth understanding of search engine marketing
- Proven track record for delivering results from Paid Media projects including examples of recent work
- Experience using Google Analytics to measure and report on results as well as other relevant tools and services
