Scheme Manager - Tower Hamlets
We require a highly motivated Scheme Manager to manage all housing management and housing related functions in our Extra Care Housing Schemes in Tower Hamlets. You will be responsible for rent collection, tenancy management, benefits advice, health and safety and general administration. You will also provide general management and business support to a busy team providing high quality, holistic care and support to older people, people with dementia and people with support needs.
You will need to be well organised and diligent with a practical, can-do attitude to solving problems. Good written communication and IT skills are essential. You will combine efficiency and business focus with a passion for customer care and tenant involvement.
You will have some housing or property management experience and demonstrate a caring and helpful approach to working with vulnerable tenants. You will promote quality of life and wellbeing through working with partner agencies and professionals and by promoting take-up of a wide range of stimulating and enjoyable activities on-site and in the community. You do not need to be a car driver but must be willing to work flexibly and to travel across the Borough from a base in Shadwell. We can offer you great training and development opportunities.
