Our client is currently looking to recruit a Procurement Administrator to join them to provide assistance to the Procurement Department and the wider business, supporting an effective supply chain management, a reduction in costs, centralised purchasing and best value for the business.

Updating and maintaining supplier, product and cost databases to ensure that all information is relevant and up to date, you will provide accurate record keeping and assist with the filing of important business documents such as contracts; identifying any potential gaps in information ensuring compliance to business processes and policies.

Taking ownership of the administrative process associated with on-boarding suppliers to achieve efficient and effective supplier management, you will assist with the reconciliation of all procurement reports in order to identify and escalate exceptions to Procurement Manager so that they can be remedied in a timely manner.

You must also monitor orders from suppliers into the distribution centre to ensure goods are received on time and in full enabling the business to operate its supply chain effectively.

The role requires a highly organised individual with strong prioritising and planning skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Of graduate level (preferably in a Business or Procurement related subject), you will be an effective communicator and proficient in Microsoft Office packages and IT systems, preferably Procurement.
