As Senior Buyer for a defined area of spend, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery and procurement of key categories within the business for all sites and subsidiaries. Being able to develop key stakeholder relationships is key to the success of this position, in order to gain commitment and buy-in from all areas of the business.
To succeed in this Senior Buyer role, you must demonstrate a working knowledge of best practice procurement experience across Direct or Indirect spend. Due to the complexity and wide-reaching element of this procurement role, you must have experience working with a wide range of stakeholders. MCIPS or working towards is preferred with the ambition to develop a long-term procurement career. Demonstrable expertise of end-to-end procurement is key with exceptional communication skills and a self-motivated and results focused approach to work a pre-requisite.
