Multi-disciplinary architecture practice are looking for a charismatic, recently qualified Part III Architect to primarily work on retail and leisure projects from their new office in Central London.
You must have gained your RIBA Part III qualification in the past couple of years, and have previous experience working on either retail/ leisure projects or large scale masterplanning/ commercial projects. You need to be ready to hit the ground running and get settled in straight away.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion and Revit are all advantageous. Revit training will be provided if you haven't used it previously.
The practice are on the AJ100 list and with that comes large, prestigious projects. But at the same time, the London office is still in its infancy, having been opened less than a year ago. This means you'll be joining a closely knit, friendly environment, where everyone helps each other out. This also means, you'll be expected to get stuck in right away in working on projects.
You will mostly be working on projects from initial brief, through to the planning stages, at which point, you will hand it over to the technical team and work with them to ensure the project is carried out correctly. You need to have an excellent understanding of the UK building regulations.
Salary is negotiable, but in line with RIBA guidelines. Unfortunately, the company are unable to cover sponsorship, so you must be based in the UK with no working restrictions.
