Finance Manager job working for a Management Consultancy in Central London paying £35-40k
Your new company
An SME management consultancy and private equity business are seeking a new Finance Manager to manage the finance function. They provide a professional and friendly, client focused working environment and are looking for an experienced SME Finance Manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing the accounts from start to finish including month end management accounts and year end. Day to day you will be responsible for bookkeeping, taking the accounts to trial balance and preparing the payroll. At month end you will prepare a management accounts pack with commentary for review by the company directors, explaining the accounts and answering any queries. You will also produce year end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors. You will have one person reporting into you, a credit controller.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked in a sole charge role previously where you were responsible for the bookkeeping and management accounts. Ideally you will have experience with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll. You will have experience working in a professional, client focused working environment, such as Consultancy, Asset Management or Legal.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on your previous experience.
