Wedding Sales Executive Knowledge, Skills and Experience requirements:

- You will have previous reactive sales experience, ideally within a Wedding Sales/ Wedding Planner environment and will have proven success within the sector.
- Demonstrate sales skills to convert reactive enquiries into confirmed business
- Able to use sales techniques and closing sales skills on the phone and face to face at meetings and site visits to gain the clients confirmation of services
- Grow and develop the level of sales and business mix direct from individual clients and via third party bookers/ agencies and making the most of potential business
- Maintain regular contact with past clients (wedding agencies) and enquiries employing sales skills to gain more enquiries and confirmations from these clients
- Ability to identify, call and book appointments with new potential businesses sources to include the venues and wedding planners

Wedding Sales Executive Responsibilities:

- Maintain an accurate and current database.
- Utilise sales abilities with clients to gain commitment to purchase the company’s products and services
- Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communication
- Accommodate meetings and tastings with clients to suit their requirements whether after standard working hours or at weekends
- Advise Senior Management team of client feedback/comments relating to product content and pricing as well as companies performance.
- Effectively employ sales skills to confirm profitable enquiries
- Maintain an effective chase and tracking system for enquiries to confirmation or release stage
- Evaluate and grade enquiries for profitability/suitability
- Effectively communicate function details and client requirements to operations team.
- Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities.
- Achieve sales activities within specified time scales as directed by Senior Management team.
- Liaise with other members of the sales teams to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism.
- Record, monitor and assess results of referred enquiries
- Identify and maintain database of ten key venue clients and key wedding planners
- Effectively communicate with Key Clients via telephone, face to face and written communication to identify full potential for, and to gain maximum commitment to purchase the organisation’s products
