Lloyd Recruitment Services has a great job opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join a leading Insurance company based in the Haywards Heath, West Sussex area.

The Marketing Executive job role will be working within a team alongside the Head of Marketing and Marketing Managers and will involve being responsible for supporting the team with the delivery of the B2B marketing plan as well as being actively involved in planning campaigns and tracking and reporting on marketing performance including digital and social, helping deliver campaign activity and supporting internal communications.

Other duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Support the implementation of marketing plans including assisting in events and campaigns, hospitality, the development of support materials, production of briefing documents etc
  • Liaison with internal and external agencies for the production of marketing collateral
  • Help develop and maintain a content plan
  • Maintenance and execution of social media activity
  • Play a key role in the creation and delivery of internal communications
  • Compilation of monthly reports including lead generation, digital performance, PR activity and other statistics as appropriate
  • Support the monitoring of key market and media trends
  • To maintain the company web site, updating pages as appropriate and to conduct regular audits of online content to ensure ongoing relevance
  • Play a key role in maintaining marketing content on the company intranet
  • To manage inbound enquiries from digital activities ensuring leads are issued to the relevant sales colleague and tracked to identify any business generated
  • Collate, index and share content, knowledge and intelligence to support new business
  • Assist with the tracking of marketing spend

Skills and experience required for the Marketing Executive job role:

  • Proven Marketing experience, working in a similar role ideally within an Insurance or Financial Services company
  • Degree in marketing or business related, or equivalent professional marketing qualification such as CIM
  • Experience of working with Excel and PowerPoint mandatory
  • Proven skills and experience of being actively involved in social media channels with a keen interest in all aspects of digital marketing including email
  • Understanding of models of employee engagement and behavioural and cultural change preferable
  • An understanding of B2B marketing and sales processes is beneficial
  • Good IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel in particular
