My client are a well established and successful IT Solutions Provider based in the South of the UK. Due to an internal promotion they are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team to focus on managing one of the largest and most prestigious accounts in the business. This role is not an aggressive sales role, I am looking for an exceptional relationship builder and a very consultative & credible sales professional.

The account is currently doing a significant amount of business with my client and part of this role will be to defend and renew these current contracts, along with considerable focus on selling in to white space to increase revenues and profit.

20% of this role will also include some new business - there is a under developed account that is to be built up and this role will also take ownership of that opportunity.

A background in IT Infrastructure / IT Services is essential - you must have sold products and services such as Storage, Virtualisation, Mobility, Data Centre, High End Servers, Networking and Cloud.

As this is such a high profile account this also offers an incredible career opportunity and will ensure that the Account Manager is working alongside the internal C-Level Execs from day one!
