Events & Sales Manager
You will have over 3 year's experience of managing large scale events the Sales and Events Manager will be responsible for all events within this division of my client’s organisation, from the initial enquiry to the final execution. In this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, project time lines, marketing opportunities, contract and vendor negotiation, event logistics and the overall event experience and at the same time be aware of other events and promotions that are also active or in the process of going live.
It is likely you will have more than 3 year's experience in two or more of the following areas conferencing, banqueting and arts events. Result driven excellent negation/presentation skills/creative and use to working under pressure.
The Sales & Event Manager will act as the Duty Manager for all event hosted within this division of the organsation
Maintain and implement the laws that govern the events:
Food Act 1990
Health and Hygiene at Work
As Licensee of the venue you will ensure that external suppliers adhere to the licensing laws
Sales and expenditure budget
Forge excellent working relationships with external client and agencies
Lead, manage and motivate your sales and events team
Understand current trends in the industry and adapt to changes
