Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join one of our top clients based in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a stable and experienced team.

The main role of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be to help and support the Purchase Ledger Manager and Finance Director with the daily Purchase Ledger function.

The Role:

  • Process of supplier purchase order, goods in documentation and purchase invoice
  • Goods inwards receipting
  • Dealing with payment and supplier issues
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Raising of supplier payments (electronic and paper)
  • Monthly VAT return processing.
  • Supplier rebate claim management
  • Filing
  • Ad hoc supplier and purchase reporting
  • Ad hoc projects are requested by the management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a similar position
  • Must have good attention to detail and be comfortable working to targets and deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate Microsoft office/excel

This role will interview and commence almost immediately so little or no notice period would be ideal but is not essential!
