Director of Operations
This Liverpool based charity is looking to recruit a Director of Operations, to work closely with the Chief Executive.
The Director of Operations will be accountable to the Chief Executive for leading, managing and developing the operational services and responsibilities of the charity. All services must meet (and preferably exceed) statutory requirements and good practice standards. The Director of Operations will be a member of the Executive Management Team and effectively contribute to the strategic development and good corporate management of the charity.
Implementing, monitoring and evaluating the strategy for all Home Improvement services
Be a member of the Executive Management Team and effectively contribute to the Executive and Senior Management Team meetings.
Responsible for the Committees governing the areas of responsibility
Managing, leading and developing the structure, processes and systems relating to the areas of responsibility for new and existing work, ensuring that account is taken of funding realities and opportunity
Contribute to the development of the strategic plan and business plan of the charity
Deputise for the Chief Executive as required
Ensuring financial viability and sound financial management of all operational services
Ensuring that staff directly accountable to this post are supervised and appraised
Candidates applying will be holding a recognised professional qualification in Social Work, Education or Health, with appropriate registration. Extensive senior management experience in a relevant field and up to date knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of responsibility of the post is essential. Ability to understand the differing needs of health, social and educational services is also required
