XTB is looking for a dynamic junior sales executive to join its fast paced and motivated sales department team within its UK headquarters, located at the impressive One Canada Square building at Canary Wharf, the heart of London’s financial district.

This sales role will focus on growing XTB’s UK and Chinese portfolio of clients. As such, any applicant must be fluent in both Chinese and English.

About the role

As a sales executive, you play a crucial role within XTB’s client acquisition and retention strategy. You will be responsible for developing your own portfolio of trading clients, provide them with personalised support, market analysis and product education so that your portfolio meets quarterly revenue targets.

We have optimised our digital marketing strategy so that there is an ever growing daily list of qualified leads which you will seek to convert into trading clients to grow your own portfolio, whilst our highly competitive offering, strong brand and intelligent systems give you a solid platform for success from the very start.

As a junior role, you will receive dedicated training and on-going support including how to use our intelligent sales systems, how to analyse the financial markets (multi-asset class), introduction to trading, persuasion techniques and much more.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • To convert new qualified leads into traded clients

  • To retain active clients through on-going relationship building and support

  • To establish and build introducing broker relationships

  • To meet or exceed quarterly revenue and deposit targets

  • To maintain an understanding of the current market direction as well as key levels on popular markets and events impacting price action

  • To assist in the organization of educational events

  • To provide daily support to all of XTB UK clients on a reactive basis including telephone calls, chat, emails and at educational events

Qualifications & Competencies

Education

  • A-level qualified. University degree, ideally in Finance/ Economics/ Banking/ Business Administration or related field, is preferred

Background

  • Sales oriented person preferably with a previous track record within the financial sector/ banking/ FX

Skills

  • Strong computer skills, CRM, Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint

  • Enjoy calling and working to targets

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills

  • Dynamic, innovative and target driven

  • Ability to work on own initiative, expand and generate business

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-moving environment

  • Extensive contacts within the market would be highly desirable

Language

  • Excellent knowledge of the English and Chinese languages, both oral and written

Eligibility

  • Ability to legally work within the UK, either hold an EU passport or UK visa
