Outsourcing & Accounts Junior - Top 20 firm
Are you an AAT studier currently working as an Outsourcing Assistant, Accounts Trainee, or Accounts Junior with experience working in a general practice, business services or outsourcing department of a good quality practice firm? Or do currently work for a smaller practice firm and have between 12 and 24 months of experience of bookkeeping, Vat returns and double entry bookkeeping up to trial balance? If so, this rapidly growing international Top 20 accountancy practice firm in a prime location in the City, is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive recent growth. Your role will be varied, and will include gaining exposure to all manner of bookkeeping assignments, including journal entries, double entry bookkeeping up to TB stage, bank reconciliations, transaction posting, sales and purchase ledger work and Vat returns. Your role will lead into the preparation of management and statutory accounts for clients, analysis, report writing, advanced bookkeeping duties and ad hoc projects. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of large listed and international businesses, as well as rapidly growing SME clients. Client industries will include retail, restaurants, media & entertainment, film & TV, technology and property. The firm will offer AAT study support for your remaining exams and then look to provide study support and training for the ACCA.
To be considered for this new role you must have between 12 months and 24 months of experience in an accountancy practice firm and you must currently be studying the AAT qualification (or taken one or two ACCA papers). You will now be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing Business Services & Outsourcing department of a Top 20 firm, and continue to learn new skills and work with impressive clients to improve your technical knowledge. This role is perfect for someone looking to learn new skills, work with good quality clients and receive top quality training and support for their career. You must be willing to learn, be able to work to tight deadlines and be looking to progress in the future. You must have experience of Sageline 50 and any other software packages would be an advantage.
