The Client

My client is a stationary/lifestyle retailer, which offers a wide range of own brand products in a fast paced environment. They pride themselves on their fun store environment and are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team and support the business. This is a brand that is expanding rapidly across the UK and offers fantastic progression opportunities!

The Role

As the Assistant Store Manager your key responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the Store Manager with the following and holding the store in their absence
  • Analysing commercial KPIs and putting in place necessary action plans
  • Contribute to selling process and lead store team
  • Maintain own personal product knowledge
  • Relay company guidelines and implement potential changes in processes and procedures
  • Help to recruit and train store team members
  • Ensure accuracy of stock data using processes
  • Training, Induction & Recruitment

The Candidate

  • Confident line management skills
  • High levels of enthusiasm, drive and motivation
  • A proven track record of driving sales in a commercially driven environment
  • High levels of organisation and a structured approach to managing the floor, demonstrating a passion for shop floor management (including driving sales, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and VM are maintained and sales opportunities are optimised)


£18,000- £23,000
