For a young British family we are looking for a competent live-out housekeeper to work daily Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm. Previous full-time private experience essential. Must live in commutable distance.

The family own two large luxurious apartments in a block of flats in a pristine location. The upstairs apartment is used full-time by the client and is staffed with 2 housekeepers. The downstairs apartment comprises of 5000 sq. ft/ 5 bedrooms and is mostly used at weekends for the children and nannies. The role of the housekeeper reports to the House Manager/ PA. This is an informal household and there are no pets.

The duties of the housekeeper are to keep the downstairs apartment beautifully clean and tidy. This includes dusting, wiping, vaccuming, mopping and polishing to high standards and to care for the clothing and bedding including ironing. Part of the housekeeper’s duty is to prepare breakfast juices when required. During very busy times the housekeepers helps out in the upstairs apartment - the duties are the same. If potential housekeepers have additional skills like flower arranging, laying tables, serving drinks, babysitting, etc. then these could be utilized.

We are looking for housekeepers who have at least 3 years’ experience of working in private household full-time (no agency staff, please). Candidates should have excellent high end housekeeping skills, speak fluent English, be well presented, flexible and reliable. Written references from past private employers will be required as well as a current DBS security check. To start as soon as possible.

Salary:£28000 - 30000 gross per year (approx. £430 - 450 net a week), live-out
