A China based oil & gas EPC Company is expanding its business development activities by establishing a new regional sales office in London. The Company already has international offices and a supply chain that extends around the globe, supporting projects in the following areas:

  • Modular EPC contracts for onshore and offshore applications
  • Floating production and storage units
  • Petrochemical and Refinery units

The Company is seeking a dynamic, innovative and cultured individual who is experienced managing executive level relationships, and who has a demonstrated track record in helping to realise innovative concepts and enabling Company’s clients to bring new energy based products to market.

Acting as the head of the new London business development office of a China based oil & gas offshore EPC company, leading a local team to conduct business development activities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Committing to accomplishing the Company's regional sales targets and goals
  • Defining optimal sales force structures
  • Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Marketing the company’s products and EPC capability through client meetings and attending/presenting at seminars and conferences
  • Establishing, developing, maintaining and promoting client relationships
  • Generating, evaluating and following project leads and guiding the Company to conduct bidding activities by helping to develop win strategies and supporting the pre-qualification and bidding process
  • Developing local partnerships to strengthen the Company’s capability and strength in offering its EPC service
  • Targeting opportunities specifically within Europe, Middle East and Africa through rigorous geographical and sector based market analysis
  • Liaising closely with the head office in China-obtaining market intelligence on a continuous basis and sharing through close interaction with Company’s business development representatives around the world

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Extensive proven experience of sales, marketing, key account management or business development for major EPC contractors in the upstream oil and gas business;
    • Extensive proven experience within senior management positions, with demonstrated experience in managing sales teams
    • Fluent both in English and Mandarin as working language, both written and verbal (the latter being required for liaison with the China based head office)
    • Proven Sales and Business Development record in the upstream oil and gas business
    • Possess excellent general knowledge of the oil & gas offshore EPC business, and must more specifically be familiar with FLNG, FSRU, LNGC, LNG technology and onshore/offshore module business
    • Strong leadership and committed to reaching targets set by the Company
    • Strong communication and co-ordination skills and capabilities
    • Flexibility to undertake extensive international business travel, with business trips up to 2 weeks per month
    • Recongnise Degree in Engineering OR MBA
