Impact Ltd is a professional outsourced contact centre providing a wide range of services to clients including Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) solutions employing over 200 staff in modern offices in Romsey. We have a diverse range of clients who provide different services and products to their customers both in the UK and worldwide.  

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Team Manager to manage a team of Outbound Sales Agents who provide electric and gas alterative solutions to customers who have alternative suppliers in the UK.  

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as a Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for a team of Outbound Sales Agents. You will work in conjunction with the Sale Coaches and provide cover as required for other supervisors within the call centre. Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Aim for 1st time resolution by floor walking to assist agents 
- Increase upselling performance though coaching and ongoing training
- Maximise revenue though wrap up times   
- Manage customer complaints/queries effectively in line with Company core values
- Give ongoing support to staff on customer care, communication skills and client branding    
- Identify training and development needs in conjunction with call centre Training Manager 
- Monitor call quality and give feedback to motivate and encourage  agents      
- Liaise with our team of account managers to improve client processes and procedures 
- Ensure all 1:1 and appraisals are carried out in line with Company policy
- Produce reports including those for KPI and SLA requirements
- Manage holiday, dependency and sick leave using a computerised Terminal Management System and carryout back to work interviews 
- Attend monthly supervisor meetings and make recommendations to call centre policies and procedures for the benefit of all stakeholders  
- Attend Interviews to recruit new staff and arrange paperwork
- Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings in line with Company policy and procedure   


- Educated to A level or equivalent 
- NVQ customer care / team leading
- Management qualification

The Ideal Sales Team Manager

- Experience as a team manager working in a busy call centre with a sales background   
- Experience within a small independent call centre would be an advantage    
- Passion for customer service and sales 
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Have excellent analytical, organisational and planning skills
- Have commercial awareness of B2B, B2C and upselling       
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn on the job  


- 40 hours mainly Monday to Friday 11:30 – 20:00 with flexibility      


- £24,000 - £28,840 DOE plus commission based on team performance
