Long standing and respected Software House with a varied client base focused on the health and social care sectors.

The role

Leading and managing the Account Management team you will retain existing clients, meeting business and financial targets for new revenue from these clients, while maintaining market share and enhancing the company's reputation. Working closely with the Managing Director you will develop an Account Management plan that supports the overall business strategy. Building and maintaining a partnership approach with clients, you will act as the chief point of contact for key clients and through this identify new sales opportunities. Supporting your team through new business development activity with key prospects, you will develop approaches, sales pitches, tenders and presentations.

The requirements

Possessing a minimum Second Class degree, preferably in a Business or Marketing discipline and ideally from a Top 30 (minimum Top 50) UK university, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Account Management, Marketing Communications, sales or marketing roles. Evidencing proven experience and demonstrable success in building and managing client relationships you will ideally have gained exposure to sales in the Public Sector e.g. Government Health and have dealt with tenders and purchasing committees. Possessing a leadership and management profile you will ideally have some experience within the IT sector and/or have a decent understanding of new technology and software development.
