Your new job as an Underwriting Technician, will be working for one of the world's largest and most established International Lloyd's Syndicate. They specialise on providing speciality and commercial insurance products across Europe, US, Middle East and the UK. Due to substantial growth within the division, a contract position for an Underwriting Quality Control Technician has arisen to work as part of an established team.
Your new role
Your new contract job working as an Underwriting Quality control technician, you will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling slips and endorsements. You will be responsible for monitoring operational processes and be fully proficient on all Microsoft Office Software including Word and Excel. You will be confident in dealing with queries from Underwriting Assistants and be able to liaise with professionals of all levels within the organisation. You will be encouraged to develop working relationships with Underwriter, Assistant Underwriters and support the business in all aspects.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in working at either a Broking House, Lloyd's Syndicate, Company market insurer or MGA will contribute to your success. You will be extremely computer literate and be competent in all Microsoft office software. You will ideally be able to start quickly, be academically able and utilise your previous Insurance experience.
