Our Client, a successful privately owned facilities management and support services business, provides a range of services to private and public sector customers. As the business prepares for the next exciting stage of growth they are looking to recruit an exceptional Key Account Manager with knowledge of selling contract cleaning and FM Services into the Public Transport sector for London & the South East.

We are looking to identify candidates with considerable contract cleaning sector knowledge and experience, who will be excited by the prospect of joining an ambitious and progressive business, where they can be part of a dynamic team and grow their career with the company.

Key areas of responsibility for the role include;
*Maintain strong existing relationships and build new ones at all levels within major main contractors, operators and public sector organisations.
*Ensuring all services are the service of choice in the specialist cleaning and maintenance of public transport infrastructure
*Administer activity (e.g. CRM data management, reporting and project admin) ensuring all activity is reported in a timely manner, supported by a dedicated Sales Administrator
* Work closely with operations/delivery teams to achieve a co-ordinated and collaborative approach to project negotiation, delivery, and planning, and to take ownership of all client communications
* Act as company liaison with major clients and interface with other departments in respect of any service or technical issues
*Produce and deliver technical presentations as required
* Stay abreast and circulate relevant market sector information
*Achieve / exceed agreed sales targets

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates who have

*A minimum of two years' experience of contract negotiation in the public and private sector within public transport, with a proven track record in large key account sales success
*Considerable knowledge and experience of contract cleaning and specialist cleaning services
*The ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels both internally and externally
*A value added sales and negotiation approach so that price is not the defining factor
*The ability to sell specification services to garner long term contract wins
*Strong communication skills both written and verbal
*Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
*Well-developed Key Account Management skills
*Existing experience of public sector transport bodies, airports and private sector transport operating companies, and a working knowledge of safety critical environments
*The ability to work independently and as a team player
*Personal drive, tenacity and are results/quality orientated
*A UK driving licence.
