We provide a comprehensive orientation programme with the opportunity to rotate to all three sites as part of your development. We offer in house training, foundation courses, coaching and leadership training. You will have the support of a clinical educator in a friendly team environment which values nursing staff.
As well as providing you with a comprehensive orientation, development and educational opportunities, we will also provide full training to enable you to complete the Unit’s Competency Programme.
Our small, supportive nursing team offers a unique combination of technical and high dependency nursing skills. It provides opportunities to work across all imaging modalities including Angio, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Trauma and Recovery.
As one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, our Interventional departments offer a full range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services across three major hospitals in West London - Hammersmith, St Marys and Charing Cross. All have a reputation for providing high quality, compassionate care whilst also being at the forefront of research and clinical innovation. Currently, the departments open on Monday to Friday. As part of this role nursing teams provide an after-hours on-call service during the week and at weekends. As the service expands, working hours will change to reflect the increasing demand of the service.
