Account Manager - Legal Publishing. £25k - £30k Basic + Uncapped Commission OTE £45k - £50k
About the Company
Our client is an International Legal Publishing Company based in Central London. They provide a range of legal, regulatory, policy insights, and analysis to the legal sector and work with Law Firms of all sizes from Magic / Silver Circle to small and medium sized firms.
About the role of Account Manager
The Account Manager role is split between new business (80%) and growing revenue from existing accounts (20%) and will require the successful candidate to sell across a range of products from online & print subscriptions, chapter listings, advertising, sponsored advertorials and conference sponsorship for legal events.
There is a significant amount of market and product research involved in the role in order to understand your clients, the market and publications.
Although office based the majority of the time there will be opportunities to travel both within the UK and overseas to meet with prospective clients for sales presentations and attend events for networking purposes.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Experience of working in Legal Publishing Sales or selling into the Legal sector is preferred
- Degree educated (preferably Law related but not essential)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Self starter with high energy levels
- Excellent relationship building, networking and negotiation skills
