They are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to report to the Store Manager

ABOUT YOU

  • An existing Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager with a customer focused retailer
  • Previously managed at least £500k turnover p/a
  • Have a good track record of driving sales through great service
  • Managed a team of at least 10 people
  • Highly organised and enjoy working in a hands on retail environment
  • Be able to prove you can manage and motivate a team
  • A pro-active approach to increasing sales through fantastic customer service

The store will give the successful candidate a strong route to promotion as they are planning to open many new stores.

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Store Manager, you will:

  • Be competent in the Store Manager’s role
  • Monitor and maintain excellent store standards, sales performance and
    presentation of your team
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve brand awareness
  • Ensure company disciplinary, grievance, absence and counselling procedures are implemented and actioned appropriately
  • Control, monitor and record all stock movements, losses and adjustments related to the store and to keep shrinkage levels to a minimum
  • Oversee the recruitment, induction, and all training process in your store
  • Guarantee all internal communications and tasks are completed in relevant timescales
  • Ensure that all team members aspire to deliver outstanding customer service by asking brilliant questions at all times
