Job Title: Teacher of Maths

Required: ASAP

Salary: MPS/UPS + Academy Incentive Payment (£5,000.00 for 3 years)

Brompton Academy, sponsored by the University of Kent, opened its doors to students aged 11 to 19 in September 2010, after achieving a 'good' with 'outstanding features' in our predecessor school's Ofsted report (April 2010). We are a dynamic, innovative Academy and have created a progressive curriculum to meet the challenges of the future workplace.

We seek to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join our highly motivated and dedicated teaching team.

Candidates should be able to deliver good quality lessons ensuring student motivation and progression. Applicants for this post should be able to demonstrate high levels of expertise and evidence of raising student attainment and achievement have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outstanding subject knowledge and a range of motivating improvement strategies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and forward thinking individual to inspire learners of all abilities and ages whilst embedding learning dispositions in Maths.

-Evidence of successful and excellent classroom practice

-Evidence of excellent /good student behaviour management

-Successful use of ICT for learning

-Demonstrable evidence of using a range of target setting and benchmarking data to raise attainment in area of work

-Ability to inspire confidence, engender trust and gain consensus with colleagues and wider community -Excellent written and presentational skills

-Ability to reflect and analyse and action both independently and collaboratively

-Ability to work co - operatively with others persuading, negotiating, and influencing in a variety of circumstances
