The Company

My client is one of the largest and well respected Solar companies in the UK. Due to increased growth plans they are looking for a capable and well-organised sales executive.

The Role:

The Distribution Sales Executive will deliver sales of my client’s products and future products and services to distributors and resellers. You will lead sales to resellers in new overseas territories as well as developing and managing some of our UK accounts.

Job Description

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Identify and profile potential distributors for my clients products offer overseas and in the UK
• Qualify potential distributors based on their offer and customer base as well as the attractiveness of the relationship to my client
• Initiate and manage sales meetings with distributors
• Monitor and report progress on revenue and pipeline
• Build and develop strong on-going relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Liaise with my clients legal and finance team to ensure completion of contractual negotiations to an acceptable level of risk to my client
• Negotiation of favourable Terms and Conditions and payments terms

Qualifications and experience

• International experience of selling to distributors/resellers
• An enthusiastic self-starter who is committed to excellent customer service and to maintaining position as the market leader in this field.
• Able to demonstrate competence in driving sales from start to finish
• You will have some structured or formal sales training
• Ideally, you will possess an understanding of the key drivers within the renewables market
• Commercially focused and highly motivated, delivering to revenue and margin targets
• Have excellent planning and organisational skills
• Accomplished at building relationships, negotiating and influencing
• Analytical capability in recognising market trends and building the channels necessary to win new market positions.
• Ability to accurately report on sales pipeline
• Work well within a small team and as part of a wider sales force operating in the UK and other countries
• Communicate effectively both within and outside of the company
