We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Travel Consultant with a can do attitude.

Company Benefits: Quarterly Bonus scheme, contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday increasing to 30 with length of service

Main Duties:

To sell and promote business travel and ancillary products to Kanoo standards, using own knowledge and our internal systems.

Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Sale of business travel and ancillary products to worldwide destinations

  • Administer and control each reservation

  • To build a strong relationship with clients

  • To handle customer enquiries and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • To show a detailed understanding of flights, air fares, fare construction, manual and automated ticketing

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of Kanoo preferred suppliers and products including air travel, hotels, car hire, ferries, domestic and continental rail travel

  • Ability to sell and cross-sell products including travel, insurance, fees ancillary products, card and foreign exchange services.

  • A sound knowledge of sales process, accountancy, documentation and the various sources of reference

  • Administer and control each reservation

  • To have of a full understanding of health requirements, vaccinations, passport and visa legislation

  • In depth knowledge of the regulations of the International Air Transport Association (I.A.T.A)

  • Ability to demonstrate in depth knowledge of domestic and international travel geography

  • To show an awareness of, and interest in, developments in the travel industry, including activities of the competition

  • Ability to demonstrate in depth knowledge of domestic and international travel geography

  • To show an awareness of, and interest in, developments in the travel industry, including activities of the competition

  • To implement suggestions and improvements

  • To comply with company and compliance procedures

  • To be proactive in generating business leads

  • To obtain business leads from clients

  • To maximise revenues from existing client base

  • To meet and exceed personal and team targets

  • To participate in and encourage generating new ideas for maximising revenues.
