The Company

Robert Half is currently working with a large technology company in the Surrey area. This business has a fantastic market presence and is looking to add a Sales Ledger Clerk to its active finance team.Based in large Surrey offices, the role is offering a rewarding career move within a stable and well-reputable brand. The business are one of the leaders in their industry and are continually growing even through the current economy.The role is going to be reporting into the Finance Controller and is vital to the continual growth of the organisation. Working within a small team, the successful candidate will be solely responsible for the sales ledger helping to ensure a smooth running of the finance function.

The Role

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk is likely to have a strong background in a similar role where they have experience of owning the ledger. Exposure to Sage Line 200 or Oracle is beneficial.Key requirements will involve checking order processing, performing any amendments and raising invoices through to chasing outstanding payments. There is an element of credit control but please note this is not a sole credit control position.The successful candidate must have a motivated attitude with a strong telephone manner and be prepared to put in extra hours if necessary.This is a very unique opportunity so I would advise people to apply to find out more about the role, business and the potential that is on offer.
