Job Title: Field Sales Exec berkshire, hertfordshire, buckinghamshire, middlesex

Department: Washroom / Healthcare Sales

Immediate Superior: Regional Manager

Prime Objective: To contribute to the success of the Region, by achieving and maintaining personal new business target as set by the Sales Director

This role is a new business focussed role dealing with new logo customers and exiting accounts alike to develop new contractual sales as well as developing new product revenues from existing accounts. You will operate as part of a national team. You will enjoy your own area and have regular training and support weekly from your line manager in the field. You will plan and organise your diary one day per week at head office and spend the rest of your week covering your appointments in the field to achieve your monthly revenue target.

You will receive full induction and product training and support when you need it.

As a result, we are keen to consider people from a field sales role that have sold a contract service or something similar, looking to develop their career.

Key Tasks:

  1. Identify and initiate New Business within a wide range of establishments by prospecting in a territory designated by the Regional Manager

  2. Plan each day’s work to maximise selling time

  3. Achieve and maintain targets set for New Business and Status

  4. Expand and develop existing accounts by building customer report and introducing additional products

  5. Identify customer needs and provide a solution to those needs

  6. Sell effectively and profitably throughout the product range

  7. Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and on time and any database system is updated with all activity

  8. Build and maintain relationships with colleagues in all departments, and communicate effectively with all divisions

  9. Undergo continuous training and development

  10. Liaise effectively with line manager

    Skills and Knowledge required to perform this role:

    • Good knowledge of company products and procedures

    • Previous experience in sales of a field based role selling a contract or service

    • Ambition to grow as a person

    • Willingness to be trained and mentored

    • Knowledge of the pricing and commission structure

    • Research of marketplace and competitors

    • Selling/Negotiation skills
