Due to impressive expansion, this highly reputable Wealth Management Practice is looking to further enhance its Technical Support Team with the appointment of a Paraplanner.

Based in Peterborough, this firm has established a strong presence and an enviable reputation in the local market. It boasts a unique approach to financial planning for high net worth Private Clients and the Employee Benefits market. It is enjoying a period of sustained growth, which is resulting in higher volumes of new business, and therefore increased administrative responsibilities. The company has built up a strong reputation for imaginative solutions, exemplary service and true professionalism in a complex market. Its clients include both high net worth individuals and companies, and as a result, a Paraplanner with experience of dealing with HNW/ Ultra HNW clients is urgently required.

Working closely with the Consultants, you will operate as a team throughout the advice process, ensuring a first-class client service is delivered. More specifically, you will interpret data obtained by Consultants during client meetings, conduct research to provide solutions to meet their needs, and recommend an appropriate course of action through suitability letters presented to the Consultant. Other day to day duties will include dealing with client and provider queries, preparing existing client files ready for reviews, and ensuring all files are compliant on an ongoing basis. You must maintain up to date product knowledge in order to ensure that reports are technically accurate and that compliance standards are adhered to.

It is essential that you have relevant experience within a similar position, including report writing and research responsibilities, and that you are accustomed to working with high net worth clients. You will have a clear understanding of the financial planning process, with a good level of technical knowledge across investment and pension advice. Diploma level 4 would be preferred but not essential, though it would significantly strengthen your application if you have achieved, or made good progress towards this.

In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary, as well as an attractive benefits package including PHI, Death in Service and pension contributions.
