Our client are one of Europe's leading suppliers of fresh produce, specialising in watercress, salads and fresh herbs. They are the market leader in living and cut fresh herbs in the UK and is currently looking for Commercial Managers to join their expanding team.
The successful candidates will have experience of working with major supermarket retailers such as Tesco, Waitrose and Marks and Spencer with a minimum of 3 years National Account Management practice working in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) arena.
They will work in partnership with our major account customers and internal departments providing support, resolving customer issues and tracking performance. They will build in-depth knowledge and understanding of our customers by excelling at establishing relationships with all key areas of their business e.g. commercial, marketing, technical, supply chain etc
By demonstrating excellent financial and business acumen they will prepare budget and KPI targets, drive profit improvement initiatives and identify new product development.
The right candidate will be self-motivated with a strong goal for results; have proven organisational, planning, analytical and time management skills. Excellent oral, written and presentational skills are essential as is an advanced level of MS Office skills.
