Accounts Semi Senior - Film, TV & Creative Clients
Are you a part qualified ACCA / qualified AAT with between 18 months and 3 years experience in an accountancy practice firm, looking to upgrade to a London based practice that specialises in working with high profile Film & TV, creative, media and entertainment clients? Would you like the opportunity to work with many established and very high profile film & TV actors / actresses, film production companies, London Theatres and many other very interesting and high profile companies all related to the film and TV industry? If so, this niche mid tier accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from much larger firms. Your role will be varied, and will include preparing statutory accounts for clients, reviewing bookkeeping assignments carried out by more junior staff, film & theatre tax credits, VAT returns and film certification audits as well as various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be split roughly 75% accounts and tax, and 25% film certification audits. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary (no experience of film and TV clients is required).
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a part qualified ACCA or a qualified AAT looking to start your ACCA. You must have at least 18 months of experience working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience preparing statutory accounts, bookkeeping and Vat returns / tax returns. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including sage, would be an advantage. A strong interest in Film & TV clients is essential (training will be provided where necessary). You must now be looking to upgrade to a niche practice where you can continue with your accountancy career and work on a very interesting and high profile client base.
