Pets Life TV is an exciting new project which will take the form of a website featuring eCommerce and short and long form video, which will also be developed for broadcast on Sky. A Website Administrator is required to develop and manage the website, to build and develop the Pets Life TV brand online, and work closely with the Pets Life TV team to deliver their vision. The job will require someone who is familiar with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Blogger, Wix and/or Shopify, who is not afraid to get their hands dirty in all aspects of building a successful website using out of the box tools - from graphics to light coding, video to forums, shops to social - and all the tools that will make Pets Life TV a successful, modern website, including search engine optimisation (SEO). The role will also involve building and running Social Media campaigns using tools like Facebook and Twitter, to engage with viewers and shoppers, develop and build user generated content for the website, and feed back into the TV production arm. The successful candidate will work closely with retailers and suppliers of Pet products to monetize the website and video production, through eCommerce, sponsorships, product placement and other revenue sharing and revenue generating opportunities. We are looking for a real go-getter, a self-starter capable of working on their own initiative, and to tight deadlines - it is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the enthusiasm to develop, nurture and grow this online element to a new brand. Experience using CMS tools is essential. Empathy with Pet owners is desirable. Liking Dogs is not negotiable! Based in modern Central London offices (near Buckingham Palace) with TV studio activities taking place in Battersea (near Clapham Junction). Salary £24,000 to £negotiable, depending on capabilities and experience.
