RedCat Digital are working with an exciting disruptive start-up to find a Junior Data Scientist to join their UK headquarters in London.

The Company

My client is already one of the world’s leading peer-to-peer marketing software organisations for the live entertainment business. Their software enables some of the largest and most famous fesitvals across the globe to turn their most influential fans into ambassadors who can promote and sell tickets for rewards. With offices located in 3 countries they have enabled their customers to sell more than 300,000 tickets across 14 countries over the past 5 years.

The Junior Data Scientist Role

The next stage of growth for my client is to begin to expand and build the Data Science capability within their customer success team, enabling them to understand their customers further and provide insights to improve decision making.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Generate and automate reports on client and ambassador performance.
  • Directly query their reporting databases, helping inform future data and product designs.
  • Provide reporting support where the product does not currently offer a solution.
  • Provide business intelligence to the organisation, enhancing and contributing to their current BI solution.

About You…

Excellent knowledge and proficiency using My SQL and Excel as well as a undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics or a similar subject is a must. You must be passionate about making better decisions through data and have a strong personality who will relish the challenge or working in a start-up environment.

The generous salary and package on offer for this role reflects what a fantastic opportunity this is. Having just closed a major round of funding they are building their engineering team from the ground up, meaning this is an opportunity to be one of the first people on board where you will be able to contribute to the company’s growth.
