This business is a hugely innovative market leader looking to take the next step in their digital strategy. The eCommerce Account Executive will be a new role for the business to help drive growth through a combination of online channels, primarily through consulting with established B2B clients to unlock the potential of eCommerce. A slightly different role here, but one with massive scope for success with a continually evolving product range.

Given the nature of the role you can work remotely with 1-2 days a week in the head office (Cheltenham).

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working in a strong team of six as part of the wider sales and marketing unit. Reporting into the National Account Manager and working closely with the Key Account Manager, your role will involve managing the major relationships to help drive growth within the Key Accounts function. A real plus is you can work remotely, managing your diary to tie in team and client meetings as and when required.

The main remit of this role will be to partner with your clients to help understand how a customer purchases your products on their site, so will ultimately follow the B2B2C pathway. Key areas of focus will include where the brand sits on their website, content layout, search engine optimisation, appropriate imagery and the wider customer journey. For example, do products link together and provide opportunities to cross-sell / upsell. They will have their own strategies on the digital marketing side in terms of customer acquisition, however a working knowledge of these channels (PPC, Retargeting, SEO, Social etc.) will help you understand their broader approach.

You’ll then work closely with the eCommerce Channel Marketing and Communications teams to implement these recommendations, utilising agency assistance where required.

What experience you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with eCommerce experience spanning the whole customer journey (acquisition, conversion and retention), allowing you to consult with key clients on how to drive eCommerce sales. Ideally you will have some wider sales experience to manage account plans, however the experienced team can help upskill in these areas. An understanding of how to grow eCommerce sales for a brand led business is far more important.

There is a competitive salary of £35-£40k which is dependent on experience, with benefits including a car (to assist with travel), 15% bonus (contingent on account growth), pension (3-7%), healthcare, life cover and 25 days holiday.
