An exciting full time opportunity for an Internal Salesperson has arisen to become part of our successful sales team based in PortsmouthThe company is now looking for a talented, tenacious & enthusiastic Internal Sales Account Manager to sell and encourage repeat business as well as pro-actively calling & winning new business opportunities from companies nationwide.The Internal Sales Account Manager will be the first port of call for our customers and their clients. It is very important for our customers to feel valued and so our every call must be treated with the upmost importance & professionalism

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Winning new business using a focused pro-active sales approach to dealing with incoming enquiries
  • Gaining new customers & sales through pro-active daily calls to customers
  • Ability to work to and exceed a weekly target of sales
  • Ability to work to and exceed weekly Key Performance Targets
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service throughout every enquiry and sales call
  • Liaising with manufacturing to ensure all orders are correct and on time
  • Manage and develop a database of clients which includes sales values, quote values, conversion rates and customer feedback on product and pricing
  • Manage and develop a pipeline of customers which includes sales values, quote values, conversion rates and customer feedback on product and pricing
  • Report directly to Head of UK Sales

Experience

· Ideally knowledge of the Electrical/ Lighting marketplace (preference not essential)

· Experience of selling to distributors(preference not essential)

· A track record of account management and internal sales (essential)

· Business to Business (B2B) Sales experience (essential)

· Strong commercial acumen, work ethic and excellent organisational skills (essential)Person Requirement Skills

Hours of WorkOffice hours are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch break
