Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must possess and have experience including, but not limited to;

  • Proven business-to-business (B2) sales experience
  • History of working towards / exceeding sales targets
  • Commercial awareness with the public sector
  • Proven track record of selling Enterprise class Data Center solutions to end users
  • Experience within IT infrastructure services
  • Strong exposure to a field sales based account management role
  • Highly developed networking, relationships and interpersonal skills
  • Great presentation skills with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Proven track record of creating, developing, and maintaining a sustainable pipeline of business

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Selling into the public sector or Local or central government within the South/South East of England.
  • Engaging in client visits/prospect visits
  • Create and develop net new business
  • Utilise warm leads from the telemarketing team
  • Managing existing accounts seeking cross/up-selling opportunities
  • Provided with realistic targets from the start, which will be ramped up fairly

The role of Account Manager is key to our ambitious growth plans. You will be responsible for generating new business within the Public Sector by using your existing networks, prospecting warm leads and presenting ANS solutions at external meetings.
