A market-leading organisation in the business intelligence and mass media space is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager for their customer acquisition programme
The successful candidate will create, deliver and analyse marketing strategy the for the UK and Ireland legal industry portfolio of publications. Channels will include customer services, sales, trade, the sister global businesses and ecommerce and territories will cover both new and existing customers. You will deliver relevant, timely, media-neutral and targeted content for all relevant online and offline publication titles, and track campaign performance against sales targets.
-Creating developing and applying a customer-led marketing strategy and value propositions.
-Planning, communicating and reporting on customer acquisitionmarketing strategy and tactical marketing plans across relevant territories.
-Working closely with data - ensuring correct segmentation of prospect data for marketing campaigns and in order to analyse data easily across all channels.
-Close collaboration with sales and full awareness of the sales funnel and targets, continually monitoring performance against marketing campaigns and ensuring optimal use of Eloqua CRM.
-Input into creation and structure of demand generationmarketing reports for all levels of internal stakeholders, focusing on volume and quality of buyer behaviour.
-Ensuring both yourself and your team has a full grasp of the customer journey/customer experience and the importance of engaging content, delivered via the right channel at the right time.
-Collaborating with creative services and content marketing lead to deliver the very best customer-driven content, focusing on storytelling and ensuring each piece of content delivered aligns with the marketing strategy.
-Analysing marketing performance and constantly challenge processes and strategy to ensure continual improvement.
-Ensuring the marketing team is generating the required level of enquiries or leads and feeding the sales funnel. Continually measuring the campaign content and marketing performance.
-Working closely with both events and digital teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience and high quality demand for sales.
-Working in collaboration with the Digital Experience Lead, ensuring customer needs are defined and responded to within the digital content strategy, and ensuring all marketers in your team understand the importance of using digital to its full effect.
-Budget management and forecasting; ensuring the team uses the budget in the most innovative and cost-effective way.
-Managing, developing and growing a successful team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
-Acting as a role model and ambassador for the development of customer-focussed marketing strategy.
-Supporting, coaching and mentoring team members, providing regular feedback. Ensuring team members develop a sense of pride and accountability in their own performance and personal growth.
-A proven B2B marketer with a blend of people management, commercial marketing strategy and demand generation experience.
-Results driven with broad experience across the full marketing mix.
-Effective stakeholder relationship management, cross-functional collaboration within teams, and the ability to work within a matrix structure.
-Thorough understanding of the customer journey, customer experience and content marketing.
-Strong organisational, project management, influencing and business partnering skills.
-Track record as a high performing marketing manager with experience of leading through change.
-The ability to mentor and motivate a team and promote team spirit.
-Proven experience in successfully setting, driving and executing marketing strategy across a business.
-Strongly invested in the customer journey, with a great knowledge of the role content plays in this.
-Analytical mind-set, with a keen eye for performance outcomes and metrics.
-A creative problem-solver in a commercial context - able to drive innovation.
-Understands the importance of storytelling and able to write persuasive written copy.
