A new Sixth form Academy is seeking an experienced Data Manager/Exams officer.

This is a unique opportunity to join a new school right at its very beginning: all teaching and teaching support staff at the school must have the energy, imagination and ambition to help launch and establish a school that will, quite simply, change lives.

Job purpose
As Data Manager: to be responsible for
1. maintaining accurate sixthformer data in the database (supplied by WCBS - training will be provided, if necessary);
2. developing and maintaining ICT-based and "real-world" systems for collecting, tracking, recording and reporting academic assessment and attendance data;
3. producing high-quality and accurate reports for parents / carers;
4. producing analysis of academic assessment and attendance data for the Senior Leadership Team and other senior teachers, to help ensure the Academy's achievement of the high expectations and ambitions it and its sixthformers share;
As Exams Officer: to be responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of external public examinations in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies, and also their own internal examinations.
