Fantastic opportunity to work for a successful and well established IT Solutions Company. Due to successful growth and continual demand, my client is seeking a talented 2nd /3rd Line Technical Support Engineer to complement their existing support team.
Your Job as the 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer, will be to become part of a busy and varied Support desk although you will be based 70% of the time in the office in Milton Keynes you will occasionally be out on client site, working with SMEs and financial institutions, proactively ensuring that all clients receive exceptional Customer service during all contact with the Service Desk,
The ideal candidate will come from an outsourced or IT service background, with impeccable customer service skills. You will be proficient in Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, Microsoft Exchange, Terminal Server, Microsoft XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 365 and Active Directory.
* You will ideally have 3 + years' experience in a 2nd/3rd Line Support or Server Support role
* Knowledge of SQL Server, Windows servers current and Exchange
* You will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, virtualisation and have proficient problem solving skills.
This role is a 2nd /3rd Line Technical Support Engineer and can also be known as a Support Analyst, Helpdesk Analyst, 2nd Line Engineer, 3rd Technical Engineer, IT Support Engineer and Helpdesk Engineer.
Any qualifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCITP would be highly beneficial towards your application
The role is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and is commutable from Northampton, Bedfordshire, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Luton and North London.
